OLD MOLE’S ELECTION DIARY
The anti-UKIP demo on Saturday had a brilliant, surreal air. Around a hundred Thanet people gathered together outside UKIP’s spanking new King St quarters in Ramsgate. They were there to express their opposition to Farage’s “People’s Army” coming in from outside to try to persuade people to vote for him.
The most wonderful thing was seeing one stalwart anti-UKIP campaigner, Kate Hamlyn, offering her fragrant home-made cakes to the clueless imported Kippers while telling them how much they were not needed here.
The most nasty thing was an incident involving a car driven by a Kipper. Anti-UKIP people tried talking to him, but the Kipper accelerated almost causing serious physical injury.
If only cakes could prevail…
