OLD MOLE’S ELECTION DIARY
You wait for months one well known Labour Party personage to come to Thanet, then hordes of them come within a week or so!
Margaret Hodge, MP, famed for savaging squirming bureaucrats and big business bods as chair of the public accounts committee, and battling with the BNP in London, is packing her cozzy and sun-cream to come for her moment in the Broadstairs sun.
On Wednesday She’s doing a question and answer session with old Labour veteran Geoff “Lord” Rooker and the Labour candidate for South Thanet, the ever popular Will Scobie, at St Andrew’s Church Hall, Reading Street, CT10 3AZ. That’s in rural Broadstairs. You could get there on the 8A bus, but you’d need a lift or taxi home.
