JOHN WORROW GETS NEW HATEMAIL MESSAGE

Thanet independent councillor John Worrow has received a second, homophobic hate mail message on his phone.

The new message says: “With a bit of luck you have got aids – and crabs as well.”

The bisexual councillor now believes he is the victim of a personal hate campaign.

Six months ago Mr Worrow received the first message on his voice-mail saying “With a bit of luck you’ll get aids.”

This was investigated by the police who discovered it was left by senior Tory councillor Ken Gregory.

Mr Gregory was cautioned by the police for malicious communication and suspended from the Tory group in the council, who also told him to go on an anger management course.

Mr Gregory is due to be readmitted to the Tory group on December 1 – World Aids day.

Mr Worrow has handed the second message to the police, who, he says, are investigating.
