Hundreds of people from across east Kent came to the conference to listen to doctors and politicians explain the crisis in the NHS and highlight the need for urgent action. Rebecca is a parliamentary researcher and writer based in Ramsgate.
It was standing room only in the Queens Rd Baptist Church as hundreds came to a conference called to defend the NHS. Above is an extract of the meeting in which Dr Bob Gill talks about the dangers of private insurance taking over the health service in the future. The hugely successful event was organised by the Save Our NHS in Kent group.
