THE HUSTINGS FARAGE AVOIDED

Wed 4 March – a public hustings meeting in the South Thanet seat Nigel Farage is standing for. The candidates for all the major parties, and almost all the others, take part. UKIP’s Farage chooses to stay away, preferring to hold court in his own invite-only meeting in the same town. Farage has said he will take part in no hustings meeting in South Thanet.

NEW FILM “UKIP UNCOVERED” TO BE SCREENED IN BROADSTAIRS

A documentary film about UKIP will get its first screening this month in Broadstairs.
The documentary, “UKIP Uncovered”, produced by local film-maker Christine Tongue, is the result of two years of filming of the party’s attempts to turn Thanet into its national stronghold.
“It’s serious stuff – but there are plenty of laughs, too,” says Christine. “I hope the film will give viewers a useful insight into the reality of UKIP and its leader Nigel Farage.”
“UKIP Uncovered” is at 7pm on Wed 18 March at the Red Hall, 11 Grosvenor Rd, Broadstairs CT10 2BT. All welcome, Entrance is free, donations welcome.
